Got Questions?
What is the DynamicRx Card?
The DynamicRx Card is a pharmacy discount program courtesy of the Healthcare Alliance.
Pre-activated, FREE and ready to use immediately, these cards can help you save
up to 75% on all of your prescription medications. With discounts on virtually every
medication sold at every pharmacy nationwide, the DynamicRx Card saves families an
average of $500. There are absolutely NO FEES to use these cards and you will never
be charged for them.
Who is the Healthcare Alliance?
The Healthcare Alliance is dedicated to improving the health and wellness of people
across America by increasing access to affordable prescription medications. As a
leader in pharmacy discount coverage, the Healthcare Alliance’s mission is to provide
relief from the already high and continually rising costs of prescription medications
for every American in need.
How can the DynamicRx Card help?
The percentages of people who are uninsured and underinsured in the U.S. are currently
at a record high. With millions of people lacking coverage to purchase prescription
medications, many are forced to pay out-of-network prices. The DynamicRx Card provides
users with savings of up to 75%, providing them with relief from the already high
and continually rising costs of prescription medications. The card also complements
existing insurance. While our program helps the uninsured and underinsured, no policy
can cover every medication all the time. However, our card does, so even those with
comprehensive insurance plans can benefit from the DynamicRx Card.
How do I get a discount?
Bring your DynamicRx Card along with your prescription to the pharmacy and present
it when you pay for your prescriptions. If your pharmacist isn't familiar with our
prescription medication discount program, please have him or her call
877-778-4905.
Where do these discounts come from?
We’re aligned with The Healthcare Alliance, which has access to negotiated
discounted rates on medications. Because the DynamicRx Card is not insurance,
it’s FREE. People who use our program save on average nearly 50% off the retail
price.
Are you a Discount Medical Program (DMPO)?
No, we are neither a Discount Medical Program nor are we a medical insurance company.
Our program is not insurance. We are not designed to replace your medical insurance.
What type of discounts can I expect?
Discounts vary based on the type of prescription. Discounts can range up to 75%
off the retail price, but the average discount is nearly 50%.
Can I get a discount at my pharmacy?
Yes, virtually every pharmacy accepts our discounts. To see a list of pharmacies
that accept the DynamicRx card,

What if my pharmacist does not know what to do with the card or print-out?
If your pharmacist isn't familiar with our prescription drug discounts, please have
him or her call 855-251-3690. Every print-out and card has this customer service
number on it. Our pharmacist helpline is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and
will assist your pharmacist with the simple process.
What if the discount I receive is different than what I expected?
This may happen, since drug prices differ by drug store and location. To avoid surprises,
please ask your pharmacist for the exact discount that you will receive before you
purchase a prescription.
Do I need to register or pay for this service?
No, this is a FREE program. There are no restrictions for pre-existing conditions
and you do not need to fill out any paperwork. It is available to all U.S. residents
and is only available for use at pharmacies in the U.S.
What happens when I use my card or print-out?
When you bring your card or print-out to your local pharmacy, your pharmacy will
input your information into its computer. Once the information has been stored by
the pharmacist, each time you return to the pharmacy, you will be eligible to get
a discount.
Can I use this discount with my current insurance?
If you have insurance, you should bring both your insurance and DynamicRx Card or
print-out to your pharmacist and ask which gives you the better discount. Our program
is not designed to add discounts to discounts you are already receiving from your
current provider, nor is it designed to reduce your co-pay. Please keep in mind
that many insurance programs do not cover drugs for which we provide discounts.
What if I don't have a printer?
If you can't print the DynamicRx Card, you can write down the member ID, GRP, BIN,
and PCN information from your temporary card and take them to your pharmacist for
the same exact savings. Additionally, when you fill out this
request form we will send you a plastic card that you can take to the pharmacy
to save on your prescriptions.
Does using this program count toward my insurance deductible?
If you have health insurance: If you have a deductible, the purchases you make using
this program will almost certainly not count toward your deductible. Of course,
we suggest you contact your insurance company to get the specifics, because not
all insurance plans are the same.
If you have an HSA or HRA plan: If you have a deductible, and our discounts or card
reduce the costs of your prescriptions, using our program will most likely count
towards your deductible, but it will take you longer to reach your full deductible
(if you reach it at all). Of course, we suggest you contact your HSA or HRA provider
to get the specifics, because not all plans are the same.
Again, if you have health coverage of any kind, we suggest you contact your plan
administrator to get the specifics, because not all plans are the same. The Healthcare
Alliance and the DynamicRX Card are not insurance.
I have unused medications, how should I dispose of them?
Most drugs can be thrown in the household trash, but consumers should take certain
precautions before tossing them out, according to the Food and Drug Administration
(FDA). A few drugs should be flushed down the toilet. And a growing number of community-based
"take-back" programs offer another safe disposal alternative.

Important note for Medicare users
Although this discount can be used as a Medicare Part D supplement by covering drugs
once participants reach the "donut hole," drugs purchased with this discount program
will not count toward your Medicare deductible and therefore will not allow you
to exceed your deductible and get out of the "donut hole." We suggest you contact
your plan administrator to get the specifics, because not all plans are the same.
